Most believe if they pay for something, they should get a better quality of service or product.

If you are very serious about finding your match, you are going to want to know the success rate of using the site, as well as finding someone who is as serious as you are. A lot of people are still skeptical about using an online dating service for security reasons. When paying for the online dating service, everyone is screened. This means you know this is a real person and not a scam.
Even though you have to put money into this service it is not as expensive as some may think. The fee is typically pretty small, sometimes even as small as the amount you would pay going to the movies or out to dinner. If I ever decided to try online dating I think I would definitely use a service that you have to pay to join. It seems like it would be safer than the free sites because you have the potential to meet someone who I believe would be more serious about a relationship than someone who might have just joined a free site while they were bored.
ReplyDeleteIf I did online dating I would use a paid website to look for someone im interested in. I feel like the free sites are not as secured as the paid ones. Paying a small fee a month is not an expense when you are looking for the right one. Its an investment in yourself and your future partner. Paid ones also put more forth an effort to find “the right one” with personality tests to match you up correctly.
ReplyDeleteI think It's a convenient way to get to know people,especially for people who for some reason have difficulty meeting the opposite sex.They may have lost touch with their old friends and don't like going out alone.
ReplyDeleteI would think reputable dating sites try and screen prospective clients to try and minimise and risk.
There will be men/women out for what they can get,money,sex,but that is the same with any meeting.
Used with common sense I think the advantages of a reputable site outweigh the disadvantages.
Pros, you can get to know someone without putting yourself at risk. Or having to listen to lame pick up lines. You don't have to hang out in bars etc.

Beware of anyone who won't move an online relationship to the phone and then face to face in a short period of time. But you also have to be smart about it too, like meet in a VERY public place. And don't give out information that can be easily traced.
There are pros and cons no matter where you meet anyone.
